The night was blue and silver white
With shades of Earth and Moon
The forest danced with the evening breeze
In the dusty starlight noon

Fiery embers fought by my side
Flames of orange and red did beam
Sent me into the midnight void
And there I had a dream

I saw the face of one I knew
But eyes I could not see
Darkness was among us
Between us, you and me

I pushed my arm into eternity
Hoping for a touch
Anything to break the abyss
That parted us so much

As if a violent answer
The fire in my soul
Sparked a flame
It had no name
And lit your sleeping coal

Suddenly the dark was light
My vision became clear
I gazed ahead, only to find
I was looking in a mirror

But the face, it wasn't mine you see
The eyes were different too
I realized then, and only then
The one I saw was you

I awoke to the dew upon my face
Through the mist I heard an owl
And as the emerald flame flew out with the wind
In the dawn I heard a howl

Your a part of me, as I am you
This is true so it would seem
Beneath the Earth and our Moon
Somewhere in the starlit noon
Here, I had a dream
