Day I
My Dearest Cleopatra,
Your looking quite lovely today
If you wouldn't mind me saying
Despite that facial clay
I'm writing you this letter on a hillside facing west
The sun is barely setting
This time of day is best
I've heard heard it through the grapevine that you've had a late affair
Don't worry I'm not angry
All the better I'll be fair.....
He's a soldier of mine, you know
Strong willed and handsome too
But suddenly he walks bow-legged
And the arrow points to you....
He claims the night was fabulous
That your face was as a dove
But he spoke of olive oil
And something called a "rubber glove?"
It doesn't matter, I'll close for now
I send kisses and love from Rome
Now go rule the land with your iron clad hand
And soon I'll be coming home
Day II
Good morning my sweet Cleo
I greet the day anew!
I am happy today, some men I will slay
So I decided to write to you
Yesterday I sent you words of no emerging concern
But I can't help but wonder
Things have gone asunder
What demonry have you learned?
Another soldier of mine, both well built and refined
Came limping from Egypt last night
He too was bent kneed, not riding his steed
The story gave us all quite a fright
He too spoke of rubber
This "glove" you call "kink"
And when detail emerged
My stomach did sink!
I understand your desperado
Without me there to please (<3)
But seducing all my soldiers?
Your bringing them to their knees!
Again I will close, it's probably me
I'm taking this all to hard
Tomorrow I'll write, in much sweeter words
And send you more self portrait cards
Day III
Oh what can I say, I'm in dismay!
More men have come back and are bent!
A general, two bull, a camel and mule
All have the glove syndrome hint!
Is this some religion, my dear tell me true
What have you been delving in!
I feel that your lost
I'm paying the cost!
Oh darling this witchcraft is sin!
I want a divorce, make it smooth make it quick
Your antics are wrong and your humor is sick
I don't care for the wealth and the power you hold
Your breasts are arousing, but I'm not that bold
You speak of latex and other strange words
I can no longer take it, I'll sever our cords
Although in this instant
As I set to close
I have one last wish
That's just how it goes
That no matter whatever do or think
I'll never run into you and your kink
Love,
Julius Cesar
